How much is this hail damage going to cost to get it repaired? It appears as though I will need two new front fenders, new hood, new roof, new drivers side quarter panel, and A and C pillars (which are one piece anyway).
Bad pics are bad.

Previous owner of my car parked it under an oak tree. Those damn acorns did a number on the hood and roof.
I am just going to live with it. Sad but shelling out close to a 1000 for the hood and god knows what for the roof.. not worth it

$50. For a license plate that says “GOLFBAL” and you can tell all your bros your sick rollover story! (srsly, though, $2,500 to fix dent-by-dent, $5,000 if panels all get replaced. Probably combo of the two.)

google “painless dent repair” may be fixable without replacing any panels.

Too much. Where did that happen? Glad we don’t get that much hail up here in Michigan.

If insurance is on the hook, might be totaled.

Yeah looks to my uneducated eyes like a PDR candidate, but dang that’s a lot of D’s to R.

A friend was telling me that he was getting a kit of tools to remove most of his hail damage himself in the “paintless dent repair” style. He is hoping to avoid a respray, but ready to do it if needed. I don’t know the details on the kit, though, but it seems to mean that you could do it yourself.

Truck is a 2016 so most likely not totaled. Insurance will definitely cover it.

Jeez, that looks brutal. Colorado really got hammered, didn’t they? Dunno the cost, but that can’t be cheap. Hope the insurance company is good to you—

I would look into finding a paintless dent removal guy instead of replacing the welded in roof panels. This looks like a textbook example for PDR to me.

Depends on how much it’ll cost to fix. If it’s too much, your insurance will just total it. But by the look of it, it’ll run into the thousands to fix and repaint.

I’m assuming thats a late model Taco (roof, uniside and hood look correct).
They’ll probably replace the roof and the hood, and conventional repair the unisides (structure outside of roof above the doors). May attempt to PDR some of it, but the metal appears stretched on the roof and hood, and gluepulling from the outside won’t be able to handle the thicker metal of the unisides.
Body, paint, parts, etc will probably end up in the $6-7000 range.
I’d run an insurance claim. It’ll fall under comprehensive coverage, which usually has a lower deductible than collision (depending on how your policy is set), and more importantly, shouldn’t raise your rates.

I just had my truck get pounded by 2.5" hail. It was significantly worse than what shows in your pictures and it was all fixed by PDR. It is amazing what they can accomplish with PDR. I had a fist sized cavity right by the 3rd brake light on the bend that rolls from the roof to the rear glass and it is completely gone. My fenders were trashed, hood was bad, divots in body lines, all the bad things and I can’t find 1 flaw.
The damage was condensed the roof, fenders, hood and the front 2 doors. It was parked backed up to my garage door, so the overhang on the garage saved the bed for the most part. All in all they fixed about 375 dents on my truck and the bill was $4500. Mine was covered by insurance, a cash price may be different.

Man, that was nuts. I watched it from I70/I25 area and it was intense.
Guessing you might have been a bit further west?
